SCD Summer Camps #1 and #2

Come and join us this summer break for a fun fencing experience! :) 2 camps are offered with the Camas School District on July 24-27 and/or August 7-10 Location: Camas Community Education Center, ZAC, Gym. (https://goo.gl/maps/zXgohgQcYZ69msB87) For this camp, you must register through the CSD website: https://communityed.camas.wednet.edu/classes/sports/ Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Cost: $200 per camp * No equipment or experience needed. All the equipment will be provided for the duration of the camp. * With the completion of this camp, a fencer will be able to join our on going beginner fencing classes and skip the introduction class. If you already started taking classes recently, it is a great opportunity to bring your friends and family to try fencing with you! Together it is always much more fun. Regardless of students' experience, the class is designed to focus on learning fencing in fun ways and through games. We will also learn about basic fencing moves, basic rules, get introduced to fencing equipment and practice the learned skills with each other. Get ready for fencing camp ahead of time. For this session you will need: - Bring a snack and a water bottle. We will take a break half way through the camp. - Personal water bottle - REQUIRED!!! we can refill water bottles but I don't have individual cups to offer. Everyone must bring their own bottles. - Wear athletic clothing (t-shirt, long pants or shorts and tennis/running/basketball shoes). Please NO dresses or skirts, boot, dress shoes, sandals, flip-flops, office shoes. Students not wearing appropriate athletic clothes will not be allowed to participate as it can be a safety issue. - Hair must be collected and not covering the face and eyes during fencing activities.
